Listening to: Vivaldi

Snow: Lots

Books: Slan by A.E. Van Vogt, The Web and The Rock by Thomas Wolfe.

Tremendous cold outside and I don't want to do anything at all. Bears have got it easy, and I wish I was one. Watching Kennedy and O'Neill slam Bush warms me up some, though. Republicans used to be the good guys, did you know? Lincoln was one, and he freed the slaves...

Gotta go now, just thought I'd drop in and say "Hi". Ya'll play nice now, ya hear?

The new year. Let's hope our soldiers will return home soon, and the killing will end. God bless them and keep them safe, and God bless the people of Iraq; it's not their fault they were born poorer than us, in fact, it's not a fault at all.

Wanna know what I've been up to the past month? Mostly reading classic novels until very late at night, and sometimes drinking 24 oz. cans of Milwaukee's Best Ice. I'm also waiting for the river to freeze over so I can go slid on it. Had a marathon DVD session the other night. I watched the extended versions of both Lord of the Ring movies and then some Star Trek ones as well. This went on and on all night long...

Listening to: Jimi Hendrix: The Ultimate Experience.

Hey Joe, where ya goin' with that gun in your hand?

And yes, I've been reading the journals of some of my friends, and I can tell I missed out on a lot of stuff over the holidays. Yea, boy! I headed over to The New Absurdist and caught up on some of the forum stuff, and read a couple of stories. Place is getting crowded, and to tell you the truth, I've not been favorably impressed with the stories I've been reading over there. I posted one of my own that I wrote over the holidays. Is it any better than what's over there? You be the judge.

Yes, and my birthday is coming up on February the First. What do I want? Perry knows...
